  1. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when I saw this on my feed. This is exactly how it appeared:

    I’m convinced that perception is half the reason progress in diversity-related matters is yo-yo slow. How those in power look at you, their unspoken but powerful judgments, they’re like microinequities on steroids. 666 more words

    I laughed out loud again at “tweaking the diversity tit” 😀

    I wonder if it’s because they’re seen as promoting diversity ‘unbiasedly’ since they don’t (or at least, aren’t perceived to) benefit from it? Whereas, of course, if women promote women they’re being totally blatantly biased and indirectly promoting themselves. Double that for ethnic minorities. /sigh/
