This series is fabulous. It’s eye opening in a way that is soooo necessary today. That constant repetition? Come on. How many times does a grown woman have to answer the same question before you believe what she says? And that bit about the car, her salary and splitting the check to avoid math? There are some lovely lessons sprinkled throughout about accepting what treatment others feel you deserve… *blinks stoically* Sigh. The games people play, the way people behave, and the behavior modifications that should but often do not take place in an effort to keep the peace. It makes you miss the straight forwardness of the wild west … Back in the day folks got out of line you popped a cap in their ass – let em think about the error of their ways while eating off the mantle piece.
